Planning a family day out at ABM Mall

A trip to the mall with children works best with a loose plan. The mistake most families make is saving the rides for last, by which point everyone is tired and the queues have built up.
Start upstairs at the fun centre while energy levels are high and the crowds are thinner. Mornings are noticeably quieter than afternoons, particularly at weekends.
Break for food once the first round of rides is done. The seating on the upper level is the easiest place to regroup with pushchairs and bags.
Leave the shopping until after lunch. With the children already entertained, it is a far calmer experience, and you will get through the list considerably faster.
